For the first time since its establishment, the institute will be relocated to a new building tailored to meet the needs of the State of Israel, located within Shamir Medical Center. This is part of a strategic plan to strengthen the National Forensic Medicine Institute and a broader process aimed at transforming Shamir Medical Center into the largest hospital in Israel within the next decade.<br \/>\nIn recent years, extensive groundwork has been undertaken by the Ministry of Health to reinforce the institute. This includes a comprehensive review of all aspects related to its strengthening &#8211; such as workforce issues and improving the institute\u2019s physical infrastructure- in close cooperation with Shamir Medical Center.
